These Boots

albumen print,
etching ink, beeswax,
vellum and shellac

9" x 12"
2000

(text)
These boots were
made for walking.
After years of
insensate
persecution, this
shrewdly-shooed
twosome is ready for
some high-steppin'
hot times. On her,
fancy floral print on
pale-pink padded-
silk, with an elegant,
empire ribbon-tied
waist. On him, the
subtlest of frills with
a jet-set gypsy
jacquard vest, and a
masculine-meets-
feminine french-style
frock.
